"We’ve sold our home but the title company found an open permit with Collier County on our 2 manual hurricane shutters installed SEVENTEEN years ago! This was gong to hold up closing. Apparently, the final inspection was never done and the original installer was out of business. This was two owners ago. Seems silly, but we had some hoops to jump thru to get this cleared. We needed a licensed contractor who would file to become the new contractor of record on the job and order the final inspection. And no, we weren’t expecting some company to do this for free. I called 5 different shutter contractors with our problem and was met with a resounding “nope” from all of them. As someone on NextDoor recommended Shutterman Services in Naples, I called them. They listened to the problem, did some research, sent their very professional crew over to inspect and service the shutters, and then got a country inspector here the very next day. Done! And for a very nominal cost. If you nee shutters or service on your shutters, I would highly recommend them. We weren’t even customers of theirs and they were so very responsive and willing to solve this problem for us. We’d buy shutters from them in a Heartbeat. Thank you, Shutterman!"
